Author: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
This book was about the family of Baskenville, one of the sons of sir Hugo Baskenville, Sir Charles Baskenville was killed. Dr. Mortimer looked for Sherock and for Watson to asked them for help to investigate who? And how? Did Charles was killed ad to protect Sir Henry Baskenville from another murder.
Holmes stayed in London to resolve another cases while Dr. Mortimer, Watson and Sir Henry went to the Baskerville Hall in Devonshire. When they were walking they saw somebody was looking at them they could though it was a Stapleton or Selden the prisoner that escaped. They saw that a man was been killed by a hound, he was wearing the same cloth as Sir Henry but it was Selden. The hound thought that was Sir Henry they think because of the smell of the cloths and everything. They meet also Mrs. Laura Lyons that wrote a card to Sir Charles before his death.
The Stapletons asked Henry to go with them and have dinner wth them he agree and Holmes arrived and together with Dr. Mortimer and Watson can kill finally the hound at the end Mrs. Stapleton who was Mr. Stapletons bother s they were husbands not siblings. So Mrs. Laura Lyons and Mrs. Stapleton helped very much. At the end they get to the conclusion that why Sir Henry´s shoes one disappear is that he had a maid working for him the brought him a shoe so the hound can smell it and kill him. They also discover that the hound was not supernatural as they thought in the beginning his eyes were painted of phosphorus paint and he was certainly big. And that Mr. Stapleton was also a Baskerville and that’s why he wanted to kill everyone in that family to stay with all the fortune they had have for many generations.
Dr. Watson first writes about the grim atmosphere of the place and then apologizes to Holmes for being impractical. He then tells Holmes that an escaped convict named Selden is hiding on the moor. Barrymore was helping Selden a scaped prisioner,"that can be very dangerous to the people" to eat. Holmes told them that he will return to London, and Watson was writing him letter so he can now what was happening in the moor and with Sir. Henry. Watson heard the Hound when he was With Stepleton and he get really scared it sound like a cry or a scream. He descovered a peace of paper with the letters,"L.L" and he asked to the persons if in there someone with First name and last name begin with L, there was only a women," Laura Lyons." Sahe gaved Watson only few clues and information about Sir. Charles, she told him that she was asking for money to him but the night he died he didn´t arrived to his house because he recived help from another man.
He went with Barrymore who told him that he had watched a boy that was carring food to someone, and Watson saw the boy in that moment so he followed him and there he saw Holmes. He told him that he never leaved the moor he was leaving in there all the time. In that moment they hear the cry of the hound that was chasing a man but the man fell in the edge of the rocks and died they descovered that the man was the prisioner and Stepleton arrived and seamed angry because it wasn´t Sir Henry.
Sir Henry went to have dinner with Stapleton, Holmes and Watson were spying the house, they saw that Stapleton got ouside of the house and they heard a loud noise followed by another weird noise, when Sir Henry went outise the house and was walking on the path, Holmes and Watson followed him, then they saw the devil´s Hound running toward Sir Henry they were very frightened, they got out their revolvers and shoot him, the hound gave a loud cry and stayed immovil, they ran to see if Sir Henry had any injury but no, he was safe.
After a while they returned to see if Stapleton was still in his house but no, only they havn´t checked on one door which was closed, they broke it and there was Mrs. Stapleton all beated up, she was fanted, then when she woke up Holmes asked her if she knew where Stapleton was, she told him that he had a house on the moor, thet he kept the hound ther, and maybe he was there, they went at the next morning and there was nobody there, they were sure he fall form the path and died there, and his body was lying at the bottom of those waters.
At last the case was finally closed, Holmes had to finish still two more cases, then when they finished all their work Holmes said that he had tickets for the theater and if they went early they could go and have dinner at his favorite restaurant.
Lancashire man killed in double dog attack

A Lancashire man has died after being attacked by two Alsatian dogs. The victim, a 21-year-old man, had gone into his back yard at 8pm on Friday to try to separate a fight between two Alsatians, which belonged to his housemate.
But the dogs turned on him and mounted a "sustained attack" which left various bite marks to his upper body.
Insp Simon Atkinson of Lancashire Police, said: "He was in the process of trying to separate the dogs.
"Both dogs turned on him and launched a sustained attack in which he received numerous puncture bite marks on his upper body."
The ambulance was called to his home in Reads Avenue, Blackpool, and he was treated at the scene but later died.
Insp Simon Atkinson, said the victim may have fallen and banged his head during or after the attack.
He added: "We cannot dismiss that he has died as a consequence of falling in this incident."
The dogs have now been destroyed at the owner's request.
